Crisis Hotline

In February 2015, pieces from Sue’s “Hemingway Collection,” “Buddha Collection,” and “Barbie Collection“ were exhibited in Ketchum, ID at the Silver Creek Art Gallery. 50% of the proceeds from all Silver Creek Art sales of Sue’s work in February benefited the Crisis Hotline, an Idaho non-profit 24-hour hotline. Founded in 1987, the Crisis Hotline offers callers immediate help, hope, and healing to empower individuals facing serious life challenges, suicidal thoughts, emotional or situational problems. The Silver Creek Art exhibition kicked off with a private gallery event for Crisis Hotline donors and board members.

The exhibition of Sue’s work was scheduled to coincide with another Ketchum fundraising event for the Crisis Hotline, “Share a Smile,” which featured a silent auction, improv performances, live music, and hors d’oeuvres was hosted by actor, author, and suicide prevention advocate Mariel Hemingway.
